Kitchens are an integral part of any home, These days, kitchen designs are not only a style statement in a house but also make a homemaker’s life easy by adding seamless functionality to the space. The designs adopted are crafted with the right mix of style and functional capability, all within the existing space. Off late, minimal designs are leading the trend in the kitchen space, pastel colors like light blue, Pantone green, and White tones are a favorite among the homemakers.  if you are thinking about a new kitchen or in the process of remodeling, there are a few points we would recommend to understand the functional footprint of the available space. Customizing the requirements according to the lifestyle stands tall as a crucial factor amongst all the requirements.

The most common kitchen layouts designed are L-shaped, Parallel or Galley kitchen, U-shaped kitchen, Island kitchen, G-shaped or Peninsula kitchen, and One wall kitchens.

L-shaped kitchen; as the name suggests, the kitchen will be L-shaped, it looks almost like the alphabet’ L’. After all this, let`s look at the most efficient layout which walks the talk for both style and functionality.

First and foremost, one has to calculate the available space to design the layout. In most cases L-shaped or a U-shaped kitchen fits the bill due to their efficiency in space utilization, also, they don`t encroach on your living room or dining area. if you have ample space, then an island kitchen can be ideal as it would add an additional working space or a casual dining area. One-wall kitchens and Galley kitchens can be ideal choices when you have a small place to utilize the kitchen area. no matter what your choice is, we at Curated Living build to customize, keeping in mind the smallest of details so that the kitchen layout seamlessly fits your style and adds the required functionality.
